Wow it’s been almost 10 months since I last opened this blog. I may not have been blogging, but I have not failed to do my film watching duties. I’ve seen a decent amount of film and I’m really impressed with how 2011 turned out. For 2012, I promise to post more and this year-ender list officially seals my 2011 and kickstarts that promise.
What follows is a list of the 20 films I liked most during the past year. No write-ups, I’m afraid. I’ll also be posting lists on TV and music in the coming days. Here’s to a less lazy me this 2012!

Been a good year for me. Some more films that missed the cut that are worth mentioning – A Separation, The Trip, Midnight in Paris, Moneyball, Curling, Cold Weather and Meek’s Cutoff.

finally.
Dalawa lang napanood ko dito.
Tree of Life – happy na ako with the fact na napanood ko ito ng buo, mag-isa, at di nakaka-tulog sa sinehan. First time ko maka-kita ng nag-walkout sa movies! haha!
Pina – buti may naabutan kaming screening (3D)! loved this one kahit di ko masyado 100% naintindihan… all for the love of dance.
Getting myself a copy of: Tomboy and Bleak Night – hopefully ‘di disappointing.
Have a copy of Come Rain Come Shine for months now. Fine, mapanood na nga.
Thanks for this!

In all fairness to you, Kinda na-pressure ako to post in a way cos you were asking for it na. Haha so thanks for that.
Wow nagiging pa-profound na taste mo given you enjoyed those two films. Haha.
If you liked Come Rain, I think there’s a chance you’ll enjoy Bleak Night and Tomboy too. Pretty much the same mood.
Also try The Skin I Live In and The Kid With a Bike, both accessible films
Thanks again, Jeff!

Contagion. Haha. I want a copy of Hugo, Melancholia, and Pina. Since I’m clueless, may comedy ba sa list mo? Haha.

Nasa HD ko lahat ng films and TV shows na yan. Kaso I never see you naman e. Malapit na ipalabas Hugo sa atin, Feb 15 yata. Will rewatch in 3D. Ok daw e. Comedy? Hmmmm.. parang closest to comedy from the list is I WISH. Yun lang talaga. Haha. Horror yung The Innkeepers and thriller yung Martha Marcy May Marlene
Thanks Dam!

Hindi kasi yan obscure! Kaya nga ako nahihiya ipost local films ko kasi ang konti ng napanuod ko. Kahit mga Star Cinema hindi ko napanuod :-/
